It has been a difficult time for all this year, but we are looking excitedly forward. Our theatre has been closed since March but the doors are beginning to open. Keep an eye out for updates on this coming soon!
It has been a long time coming but we have a date for your diaries. The time has finally arrived for our Annual General Meeting on 22nd September at 7pm. The past few months have been spent thinking about the running of the Wharf and our future plans. This means there are some changes to propose to the membership. Mainly, we are proposing a change to the management structure of the theatre to separate Trustees and the Management Committee. An AGM pack with the proposal and other key information for the AGM will be sent out shortly to explain this further.
Of course, the AGM is going to look and work slightly differently this year. Government guidance still stands on social distancing and our member’s safety is first and foremost. This means that we can only have 30 in the building for this AGM and you will need to book to attend. Booking will be made available on TicketSource as a members-only free event. Seating will not be reserved through
TicketSource and instead you will be allocated a seat when you arrive. This is all to ensure we can keep to the 2m rules as much as is possible. Additionally, hand sanitiser will be made available and a one-way system in place.
Don’t worry if the event sells out. If you wish to attend but there are no tickets left please do email and we can make alternate arrangements. Booking for the event will close on the 19th September so that seating plans can be arranged.
